The 2018 Wish Upon a Food Truck Festival is excited to announce that Race Car Driver, Bobby Gerhart, will be at our event on Sept. 15th to meet and greet with people attending. Bobby Gerhart Jr. is an American professional stock car racing driver. He currently drives the No. 5 Lucas Oil Chevrolet in the ARCA Racing Series. He also drives the No. 85 Chevrolet Camaro for his own team Bobby Gerhart Racing, in the NASCAR Xfinity Series on a part-time basis. He also drives the No. 36 Chevy Silverado for his own team in a joint effort with the MB Motorsports team in the Camping World Truck Series. He has won nine times on the ARCA circuit, eight of those victories coming in the season-opening ARCA Daytona 200 at Daytona International Speedway (2012, 2010, 2006, 2005, 2002 and 1999) In 308 career starts since 1988, he has 55 top-5 finishes and 120 top-10s. Bobby also played a huge role in helping a local teen to have his wish come true of meeting him and driving his car around the race track! We are so excited to announce that the winner of Food Network's "Junior Chopped" competition, Danielle McNerney, will be joining us at the 2018 Wish Upon a Food Truck Festival on Sat. Sept. 15th at the AACA Museum, Inc. in Hershey. Danielle started cooking at age four and considers herself a self-made chef. She is known for her healthy yet delicious meals, which she started crafting after her mother was diagnosed with Merkel cell carcinoma. The family needed to convert to healthy, organic foods, and Danielle took on the challenge. Danielle won the California Strawberry Commission’s #KidsCookOff recipe competition with a strawberry basil quinoa salad. In December 2015, Danielle competed on NBC’s show Food Fighters, where she went head-to-head with renowned cake master Duff Goldman. FoodBeast named her as one of the Top 7 Youth Chefs You Should Know. She will be doing a Meet and Greet throughout the day at the event and will also have her Save the Moms Recipe Cards in which Teens Cook. Moms Kick Back! Save the Moms is on a mission to save mom time and stress by teaching teens how to cook using step by step recipe cards! Another Exciting Announcement! American Ninja Warrior Joe Moravsky will be joining us for the 2018 Wish Upon a Food Truck Festival!! Joe Moravsky (native of Sherman, CT now living in Monroe, CT) is a 29 year old Ninja Warrior Pro AND a Freelance Meteorologist for News 12 Connecticut. He currently runs monthly Warrior Course classes at Sky Zone in Bethel, CT, tours the country doing special events/appearances, and is a paid athlete with The Wolfpack Ninja Tour! Joe is most known for his success on American Ninja Warrior... as well as his previous partnership with Macy's clothing line "Ideology Men's" and for his Weather Channel commercial.
Since childhood, Joe knew two things for sure, he loved the weather and playing sports. Through elementary and high school, Joe participated in many sports, including basketball, baseball, soccer, and cross-country. He always loved sports and always had a desire to be a pro athlete... little did he know that would become one of the best Ninja Warrior Athletes in history!
